After posting a very good 7th fastest time on Friday in KZ2, Eric Ramon has increased the tone at the European Championship at Wackersdorf, Germany, on Saturday morning. The Sodi / TM driver was flying, with equipment development still in progress.
The 1st round of qualifying for KZ2 took place on a track wit dry lines, but the edges were still wet after rain the previous night. The course was tricky and passing was difficult. Ramon was not impressed and finished in 3rd position, close to the poleman, Jorrit Pex.
In the next session, Ramon was still faster. He was close to the wake of the leader Roland Ecker and attacked on the fifth lap to take the lead. Ecker replied 3 laps later and Ramon finished second. A very good start to the week-end for Sodi in KZ2!
