Pierre Gasly accomplished his mission for Sodi Racing Team at the first GPO 2010 in Varennes sur Allier. Relying on the qualities of his Sodi chassis, combined with the power of his Parilla engine, the French team’s KF3 official driver raised the tone race after race to score as many points as possible. After winning the final on Saturday, Gasly got the big slam on Sunday, by dominating from timed qualifying to the final race.
Thanks to a perfectly adjusted kart and a winning racing strategy, Sodi is now solidly in the lead in KF3 provisional standings, with an advantage of more than 66 points over the other competitors for the title. Other Sodi drivers showed similar, more than encouraging debuts, such as Enzo Marchetti (third) and Léo Roussel (fourth). The whole team have been rewarded for their efforts and feel more determined than ever before the last event of the WSK Euro Series in Sarno (I), next weekend.
