As the season advances, Thiago Vivacqua rises in the standings. During the last round of the WSK Euro Series at Zuera, the young Brazilian driver did better than simply maintaining his place in KF2 top 10. He was both fast and regular and launched his attack in the qualifying heats to rise to 6th in the provisional classification, with a 3rd and a 4th place as his best results… Considering that he started from 27th position in timed qualifying, his performance is definitely a remarkable one.
In the sizzling heat of the pre-final, Thiago lost some ground at the start due to his position on the outer line, but regained positions thanks to his third fastest lap time in the race – quicker than the leaders – with an 8th place on the finish line; same scenario in the final race, where he finished 9th. He regained 10 places in the championship classification in a single stroke, in 24th position. The degree of confidence shown by Thiago over the last few races enables him to look serenely to forthcoming races: U18 World Championship at Angerville and World Cup for KF2 again at Zuera.
