It was a clean start for the KF2 final, on Sunday at Angerville. Sébastien Bailly (Swiss Hutless / TM) and Charles Leclerc (ART GP / Parilla) were neck and neck on the first lap ahead of Valentin Moineault (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Paul Boutonnet (Tony Kart / Parilla). Bailly moved to the lead, Leclerc starting from fourth passed Boutonnet and Moineault before threatening the leader.
Moineault set the fastest time, but Leclerc was unstoppable. The Monegasque attacked Boutonnet for second place on lap 5. Bryan Laloux (Kosmic / Vortex) was in fifth place ahead of Remy Deguffroy (Tony Kart / Vortex), Vincent Fraïsse (Sodi / Parilla) and Victor Compere (Kosmic / Parilla). Bailly had to defend from Leclerc while immediately behind Moineault pushed Boutonnet and Deguffroy passed Laloux.
At halfway Moineault, the fastest on the track, grabbed third place. Leclerc responded with an attack on Bailly, who had a slight loss of power and gave way then had to face Moineault and Boutonnet. But the Belgian did not give up and retook Boutonnet under braking by the cafeteria. Laloux was back in front of Deguffroy for fifth position. Moineault closed on the leader, who reacted with a new fastest lap.
Leclerc won ahead of Moineault and Bailly, Boutonnet finished 4th, Laloux 5th, Deguffroy 6th and Fraïsse 7th.
