Absent from KF1 last year, Intrepid has not skimped on it’s return to the premier karting category.
For drivers, Intrepid has chosen to field a mix of experienced and younger drivers. Jeremy Iglesias and Jamie Croxford are supported at La Conca by Roberto Toninelli, 2006 European Super ICC Champion, the class which is now KZ1. The team will also rely on the winner of the Winter Cup, the Belgian Yannick De Brabander, and the young Frenchman Norman Nato, winner of the last Spanish Copa de Campeones.
Intrepid has also reorganised to use TM engines again, which seems a good choice for 2008. The tuner Bernard Matana has joined intrepid and at La Conca is attending to Toninelli and Nato.
The Intrepids posted times in the top ten this morning and this afternoon the beautiful fourth place by Iglesias proved that the right choices were made and that the team is on the right path.
