With less than six heats in the afternoon on Saturday, the last two took place in the rain. The starts, and also the early laps, are often disruptive in this category.
Marciello, Moller Madsen, Maisano, Sainz, again Moller Madsen and Grenhagen were the winners of the day. But Marciello and Grenhagen had retirements, while Maisano took a third place, Sainz and 11th.
In short, it is hard to see a true hierarchy, although Nicolaj Moller Madsen will probabl be well placed tomorrow. Vainio is in the picture, Anttila could cause great difficulty for the frontrunners, as could D’Agosto. Kevin Ceccon should take advantage of his two second places and a third to qualify well. Michelle Gatting made her reappearance at the top of the table in a well-contested race, proving once again her ability to attack.
Nyck De Vries, after his 25th place, took an effective sixth in his other leg. Guillaume De Ridder continued to discover and develop his equipment and took the fourth position in the last race.
Jonathan Helias succeeded with a good pattern, ninth, fourth and eighth. Mathieu Jaminet started well, eighth and sixth, before losing a few laps in the rain.
