In the middle of the weekend at Essay, the 2008 French Championship reached the midway point of the season. Before the racing on Sunday, here is a quick update on the provisional classification.
In KZ2, Thomas Mich took first place from Enzo Zefirini by just one point. Emilien Grosso remains in third, Anthony Abbasse with his current lack of success is currently fourth. In fifth is Norman Nato. Alban Varutti used his victory to moved up to ninth position.
Charles Lacaze increased his lead in KF2; he is now 16 points ahead of Robin Frijns. Guillaume Barbarin is in third, Kenny Vermeylen fourth and Wiliam Benedetti is equal with Sebastien Bailly in fifth.
Finally, Brandon Maisano edged ahead in KF3, just five points ahead of Guillaume De Ridder in second after good finishes since the beginning of the season. Clemente Picariello is in third and Jonathan Helias fourth ahead of Michael Heche and Mathieu Jaminet.
