The weather forecasts predict rain during the day on Saturday at Suzuka, but the morning remained dry under an overcast sky.
The KF1s took to the track at 10:30 for the first timed session. As usual, the competitors used different strategies. Fore was the hare fllowed by a pack of other competitors. Alessandro Bressan was on his own throughout the session to gain the seventh fastest time. After five laps there was relentless pressure from Fore.
Sauro Cesetti seems very fast, but a little embarrassed in the peloton, while Marco Ardigo enjoys a good strategy team. It keeps the tiercé winner: Forè in 47”791, Ardigo in 47”792. A single small millème second separates the two champions. Cesetti up its Birel to 18 cents. The Japanese Shoji Sato took the 4th place before Libor Toman. Will Stevens is the 8th, Gary Catt 12th. Only Kazuya Ishii went out in the second session, but without improvement.
