Mr Super Pole du jour, Sauro Cesetti took advantage of his position to win the third and last KF1 heat ahead of Davide Fore and Anthony Abbasse. Will Stevens went off the track and lost a few places, while Alessandro Bressan, Mark Litchfield and Vittorio Mangili touched and went off into the grass.
Cesetti got away and Fore threatened Abbasse, then passed and pulled away. Gary Catt quickly moved back to the front and annick De Brabander edged his nose into the top six. A fine drizzle made the track slightly greasy. Catt was rapidly approaching Fore and attacked on lap four. Armand Convers joined the top ten on the next lap. Catt, who had overtaken Fore, was now with the leaders while De Brabander was rid of Piccioni and soon Abbasse.
Catt attacked Cesetti, who did not let him get away. De Brabander was not ver close to Fore but he was nearer on the last lap. Cesetti took back the lead a few turns from the finish line.
The victory went to Sauro Cesetti ahead of Gary Catt and Davide Fore.
