Since the start of the season, Maxter has won a seemingly endless series of top-level international races. The Italian brand has demonstrated its know-how by winning both the “KF” and the “KZ” categories. “Today, our engines fulfil the needs of both our drivers and our customers and this is exactly what we wanted to achieve. Regardless of whether our engines are used by official or independent teams, their competitiveness and reliability exceed expectations”, Nico Carigiet, one of Maxter’s technical managers, commented.
Arnaud Kozlinski (vice champion) and Jean-Philippe Guignet won three out of six European KF1 Championship races with their Maxter, while Davide Fore (Maranello) conquered the World Cup in Japan. In KF2, James Thorp won the WSK round at Sarno at the wheel of a Maranello-Maxter, while Finns Aaro Vainio and Joni Wiman showed a textbook performance at the European KF3 Championship with their Maranello-Maxter. In less than two years, Maxter has successfully achieved the transition from 100cc to 125cc engines and is now a reference point for the three “KF” categories.
At Varennes (France), Maxter also (and above all) won the most prestigious final, that of the World Cup for KZ1, with some precious help from performance tuner Patrick Savard (Tec’Sav). Jonathan Thonon dominated the race and conquered the second world title in a row with his CRG-Maxter, the best possible weapon for 125cc gearbox categories.
