CRG / Maxter achieved a KZ double with the victory for Rick Dreezen, whose joy was plain to see, and the second place from Jonathan Thonon. Manuel Renaudie took a superb third place after being attacked all the time.
Thonon made a cautious start against his opponents. It was Dreezen who flew, with Tony Lavanant on his heels. Marco Ardigò was a victim of a clash with a yellow kart in a hard weekend for the World Champion. Hawksworth and Gallepe lost time. Thonon ran quickly in the wake of Dreezen, who took the opportunity to get away a bit.
Renaudie quickly caught up with Lavanant and took him on the 4th lap. Thomas Mich came back from 28th position following his violent exit from the prefinal. He was 10th on the 10th lap. The CRGs distanced themselves insolently from their pursuers. Renaudie created a comfortable gap with Lavanant resilient to the threat from Gaggianesi and Mich. Laudato finished 8th from Lammers.
