The weather is unsettled on Saturday morning at La Conca. The track was still damp and tricky for the warm-up, but the wind quickly dried the racing line, which allowed the Super KF drivers to set their times in good conditions. The first session was significantly faster, and the circuit changed dramatically for the second.
A great performance from Armand Convers (Kosmic / Vortex) as usual and he took the top position with 47”662 before Arnaud Kozlinski (CRG / Maxter) in 47”740. Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) on 47”819 completed in the latest rounds of the session, which gave him 3rd place. The leader of his group, Gary Catt (Tony Kart / Vortex) was 4th overall, just ahead of Sauro Cesetti (Birel / Parilla) and Davide Gaggianesi (FA Kart / Vortex). Libor Toman (Birel / Parilla) is back after a day of disappointing times on Friday, and is ranked 7th. Antonio Piccioni gave the RK 8th position in it’s debut, while Mark Litchfield for Maranello and Yannick De Brabander for Intrepid rounded out the top 10, who will meet at 12:30 on the track for the Super Pole.
