What a lesson! Brandon Maisano completely walked over the competition in the Margutti Trophy final. Last in qualifying, first in the final, Saint Ludo did not lie. The Intrepid / TM prepared by the LM Karting team was diabolical in the hands of Brandon. After a reasonable start, Nicolaj Moller-Madsen (Energy / TM) led, Matteo Viganò (Birel / Parilla) was momentarily ahead of a very quiet Maisano. On the 3rd lap, the hopes of victory of his opponents were already over: Brandon unleashed the booster and stretched out his unassailable lead over the remaining laps. He crossed the finish line with more than a 6s lead …
The race was exciting with the fight between Vigano, Moller-Madsen and Antonio Giovinazzi (Topkart / Parilla). There were passes on each lap between the first two, while Giovinazzi returned to the mix and was ultimately delighted with 3rd place from Moller-Madsen. Vigano took a great second. Another sign of a great race was the Swiss driver Jimmy Antunes (Sodi / Parilla), who started last and gained 14 places.
