In KZ2 the finals began with a dramatic twist: Thomas Mich was not present on the starting grid after a front brake problem during the parade lap. Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM) made the best start, followed by Morgan Weber (Birel / TM). Norman Nato (Intrepid / Maxter) soon joined these 2 drivers and got into second place from the 2nd lap. A memorable duel between Abbasse and Nato lasted for more than 15 laps.
In 4th, Clément Da Silva had to retire on lap 8, leaving his place to Yannick Savard, followed by the amazing Pierre Ragues. Starting from the back of the grid following the loss of some bodywork in the pre-final, Mathias Gallepe had the knife between his teeth, as if . The difference decreased between Abbasse and Nato over time, to the point where Norman had to defend against an attack by the cafe at halfway. But it did not work this time. Two laps later, Abbasse lost some time out of a tight turn in the middle of the circuit and Nato managed to pass.
The Sodi driver was not beaten and he threw all his forces into battle. The first attempt did not work, and in the second go Anthony got past and then came off at the pit bend. Morgan Weber inherited 2nd position and Pierre Rague 3rd. After driving a very good race, Yan Pesce just failed to reach the podium, followed by Yannick Savard. Gallepe finished within the top 10 after a sustained effort throughout the 21 laps of the final.
