An important european appointment has been set on the weekend of June 29th on the circuit of Lavelanet in France, at the border with the Pyrenees. Here, will actually take place the Bruno Grana International Trophy
which will be run over one single event reserved to X30 engines manufactured by the Italian Firm and dedicated to the name of Bruno Grana, memorable Managing Director and President of IAME.
As a matter of fact Bruno Grana has been one of the first people to be interested in karting and able to convince the Parilla motorcycle engine builder to manufacture the first kart engines for the United States market and, after that, to be exported worldwide. This was the beginning of his adventure, which brought him, back in 1968, to gain the Parilla brand and to found IAME (Italian American Motor Engineering) the Company which still is world leader in the production of kart motors.
Coming back to the Trophy, this is a heartfelt project, which has the status of full international event inserted into the FIA racing calendar. In the future (may be starting next year) it will be shaped as a X30 European Championship.
