KF3
Baron won the first pre-final in KF3, with more than a 5s lead from Guibbert who had a long duel with Belmaaziz, who finished third. Gasly lost places at the start and then remained in 4th position before giving in to Victor Makau. Carel crashed with Hélias, who fell down the rankings, but managed to return to 10th.
KF2
9th on the grid, Maisano crashed on the 1st lap with the American Zeen but he kept going. He made a strong attack, but his machine did not allow him to do better than 14th at the end. Reguillon started 5th, then dropped to 6th, but came back to 4th by halfway. The leaders were 100% Belgian with Sébastien Bailly running first, then Vermeylen and De Ridder. Bluy didn’t make a great start, for long time in 7th, but he passed Dupont and Chatin at the end of the race to finish 5th. It was a wise and systematic race for the Portuguese David Rambeau in 8th position.
KZ2
An animated race down in the pack, the KZ2 pre-final began with a dramatic event: Abbasse was stopped on the starting grid. After a second parade lap, he started last. Meanwhile, Nato cruised to a victory with more than 6” in hand. Clément Da Silva quickly defeated Stéphane Lefebvre and settled permanently in 2nd place, achieving a very solid result. Thomas Mich didn’t make the best start of his career: 7th, but he whipped back finally to 4th ahead of Ramon. Varutti took advantage of Gallepe at the end.
