The temperature rose on the Ostricourt circuit after lunch. Athough Loïc Réguillon (Sodi / Parilla) negotiated his start perfectly, he could not resist a premature attack by Vincent Fraïsse (Intrepid / TM) at the first corner. In the ensuing contact, Réguillon lost 3 places and Fraïsse went off again. Keyaert Glenn (CRG / Maxter) held the lead ahead of Paul Loup Chatin (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Sébastien Bailly (Tony Kart / Vortex) who made a great start.
On the next lap, Keyaert was the victim of a crash, but he managed to regain the track in 6th place. Clement Bluy (Tony Kart / Vortex) moved up to 4th before falling back to last position. Chatin was threatened by Bailly, but he kept command of the race. Then Keyaert quickly gained on Réguillon who he passed on turn 6 before capturing 2nd place from Chatin. Fraïsse moved up to 9th position at the cost of a big attack, while Bluy was already 12th. Réguillon was solid in 3rd position.
As the end of race approached, Keyaert was attacked by both Bailly and Réguillon which will also brought him the fastest lap of the race. But the situation did not change. The victory was richly deserved by Keyaert ahead of Bailly, Réguillon and Chatin, followed by Bornert, Moncuit, Smith and Fraïsse.
