The last event of 2009 season – the Las Vegas Supernationals – was held in North America on 21 and 22 November. CRG was in the spotlight there, with over 70 drivers representing the Italian world champion brand. Once again, the 3 official team drivers racing in Super Pro went really fast.
Jonathan Thonon opened the hostilities with a third place in timed qualifying and a victory in the heats, though he couldn’t avoid a series of problems. He lost his exhaust pipe in qualifying and had to withdraw in the final race, but not before he had the best race lap in his pocket. Davide Forè was also on a very good pace, but after a mechanical problem, he involuntarily caused Thonon’s withdrawal, too. It was Arnaud Kozlinski – both fast and reliable – who achieved the best result, with a 4th place after the qualifying heats. At the end of an exciting final race, Koko set the best result for CRG with his 4th place.
Racing for the occasion with the CRG Team, Brandon Maïsano dominated KF2 timed qualifying and then battled hard to climb on the third step of the final podium.
