Pierre Gasly (Sodi / Parilla) took pole to start the KF3 Prefinal on Sunday with the best time of the morning. He retained the advantage at the first corner, but Hubert Anthoine (Tony Kart / Vortex) was projected into the gravel so he kept the place. It suddenly started to rain, soaking the rack.
At the front Gasly built up a big gap of four seconds followed by the wily Remy Deguffroy (Tony Kart / Vortex), Enzo Marchetti (Sodi / Parilla), Leo Roussel (Sodi / Parilla) and Simon Tirman (Tony Kart / Vortex) in 5th. Marchetti was very comfortable and just grabbed the second spot from Deguffroy. Some backmarkers had to pit before being overtaken by the race leaders. Hubert was able to stay out and advanced to 12th in mid-race.
Deguffroy took 2nd when the weather improved slightly, although the rain had not stopped yet. There was nothing between the duo of Deguffroy and Marchetti. Leo Roussel (Sodi / Parilla) took 4th and Simon Tirman (Tony Kart / Vortex) the fifth best time.
Marchetti started the last lap ahead of Deguffroy and retained his position ahead the second driver at Tony Kart while Pierre Gasly had already crossed the finish line seven seconds earlier. Roussel was 4th, Tirman 5th. Hubert finally got into the top 10, which was little consolation.
