Beitske Visser wanted to show all her talent at the second meeting of the WSK Euro Series. Confident after her second place in the KZ2 Championship, she sought gratification in Sarno, and that could only mean one thing for her: victory! And she started on the right foot in KZ2: she was in the lead after the heats, and about to make it in the pre-final…
This is how she explains it: “Some drivers behave strangely, it’s disappointing. It’s a pity that race officials do not sanction these excesses more often. In the final race, I overtook a driver who then passed me back … and sent me off the track. My race stopped there. I must say that I am not happy at all. But tomorrow is going to be better! I will focus on Varennes, a track that I do not know yet and where I will soon go to train“.
Second at the KZ2 Championship in her first season in WSK, at only 15, it is an extraordinary performance anyway, which many more experienced drivers would be very envious of. But for Beitske it is not enough! It is evident that her determination to win is above the average. Next meeting: European Championship in Varennes, where she will do everything she can – and a bit more – to get closer to the top.
