CRG and Maxter have made winning a habit. Thanks to its long experience, the Italian brand has learnt that success is not something that can be improvised, but it is the result of huge efforts. 2010 remained faithful to the tradition and the list of CRG achievements became even longer, after a series of victories conquered in all the categories of international karting…
KF2: A Girl in Power with CRG
Michelle Gatting travelled a lot in 2010 and showed the excellent performances of her CRG-Maxter in many countries and on several different circuits. For example, the Danish girl climbed on the first step of the podium at the Belgian Championship as well as at the French Championship with the VDK Racing team (CRG Junior Team). Gatting was often in the WSK top positions and even conquered two victories during the final rounds of Zuera, Spain (Euro Series) and Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt (World Series). She was also third at the Asia-Pacific Championship in Suzuka, where Japanese driver Kiyoto Fujinami had a brilliant victory with his CRG-Maxter.
KF3: Goal Fulfilled
In 2010, CRG-Maxter karts have become a point of reference in this highly competitive category. “It was one of our main goals for the season, and we are very satisfied we have fulfilled it”, Nico Carigiet from Maxter commented proudly. Max Verstappen has always been up to expectations in all major events, despite the fact that it was the Dutch driver’s debut in KF3. After winning the WSK Euro Series, he repeated his successful performance at the World Series and at the Nations Cup. It was a brilliant hat trick success, in addition to a second place at the World Cup and at the Winter Cup, as well as a fifth place at the European Championship. Antonio “Speedy” Fuoco confirmed his excellent state of form by ending second at the Open Masters and fourth at the WSK World Series. And the season finished with a clean victory by British Matthew Graham at the Asia-Pacific Championship in Macao.
CRG also conquered other victories at national level as well as at single-brand championships (such as Rotax Max) all over the world, starting from the younger drivers’ categories, as confirmed by the title won by Lorenzo Scatta in 60 Mini at the Open Masters. CRG and Maxter will be ready for another successful season in 2011…
