Given the progress of the KZ2 race, the KF3 drivers all appeared on slicks on the grid, but the rain intensified slightly and officials imposed the wet tires. Verstappen and Leclerc were on the front row. Verstappen took off In first followed by O’Keeffe, Leclerc and Olsen. O’Keeffe spun, Leclerc took second place ahead of Olsen, Hiltbrand and Sylvest. Moineault was well placed in the top 10, Petit not far behind.
Leclerc seemed to be in trouble, he let Olsen past then Hiltbrand and Sylvest. Olsen was now threatening Verstappen. Sylvest closed on the top two, and now Hansson who occupied 4th position. Moineault increased to 8th, while Leclerc continued to mark time.
Halfway. Olsen was now the in the lead, and Sylvest threatened Verstappen. After the draft, Van Meever took 5th place! Sylvest was The loser, going back three places. Moineault and Russell (28th starter) passed poor Leclerc. Hansson attacked Verstappen for 2nd place.
Two Energy / TM led the race ahead of the CRG / Maxter of Verstappen holding off for now the Tony Kart / Vortex of Van Meever. The Intrepid / TM of Russell was sixth ahead of Energy / TM Dell’Acquila.
On the last lap, Hansson took his teammate Olsen, Van Meever attacked Verstappen, but he reacted in its own way and kept the 3rd place on the line. Sylvest finished 5th, 6th from 26th was Dell’Aquila, Russell 7th, Zanchi 8th.
