The end of the meeting at La Conca, WSK Masters, was KF3 with their long-awaited final. There was a dramatic crash on the line between Jupp and Lavelli, who remained on the sidelines. Koebolt retired at the first corner. Leading the race, Slavko Ivanovic (Tony Kart / Vortex) headed Callan O’Keeffe (FA Kart / Vortex), followed by Pedro Hiltbrand (Kosmic / Vortex), Antonio Fuoco (Top Kart / TM), Matthew Graham (Zanardi / Parilla), Federico Pezzoli (Intrepid / TM) and Nicolai Sylvest (Tony Kart / Vortex). Max Verstappen (CRG / Maxter), very fast, was up to 13th on the 1st lap.
O’Keeffe took the lead on the next lap, followed now by Hiltbrand. Takashi Kazai (Tony Kart / Vortex) was back in 5th place, followed by Lasse Sorensen (Birel / BMB). The devilish Verstappen was in high gear, he was already 8th on lap 5, and the fastest on the track.
Behind the top 2, the group was engaged a fierce battle. Ivanovic preserved 3rd place, but was threatened by Graham and Sorensen, Fuoco and … Verstappen. Ivanovic yielded and dropped to 7th. Verstappen was at least 5 tenths faster than the leader, he joined the quartet and was pushing Fuoco. Dennis Olsen (Energy / TM) also made a great effort coming back to 7th position, just behind Sorensen.
Callan O’Keeffe won the race ahead of Pedro Hiltbrand and Max Verstappen, who started from the 20th position on the grid. Fuoco finished 4th, Graham 5th, Sorensen 6th, Olsen 7th, Ivanovic 8th.
