Anthony Abbasse made the best start in the prefinal in KZ2, but Alexandre Baron managed to overtake his experienced team mate. But soon Abbasse took the advantage, while Maxime Roy took the opportunity to take second. Abbasse was the strongest, but did not force his talent so as to save up his tires. For his part, Thomas Mich did not participate in the pre-final and will start the final with almost new tires.
For second place, there was a good fight. First put under pressure by Pierre Ragues, Maxime Roy took Baron to secure the best propects for the position. Ragues couldn’t find the opening and was content with fourth place behind Roy. A little further back, Charles Fiault won his duel with Nolan Mantione for fifth place, while Julien Goupy managed to forestall Antony Tardieu and Christophe Benoit. There was disappointment for Mathieu Gaillard who had to retire.
