Charles Leclerc (ART GP / Parilla) escaped from the first lap of the KF2 prefinal while Paul Boutonnet (Tony Kart / Vortex) dropped to the bottom of the ranking in the company of Vincent Fraïsse (Sodi / Parilla). Valentin Moineault (Tony Kart / Vortex) moved to second position, followed by Pedro Hiltbrand (FA Kart / Vortex), Remy Deguffroy (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Guillaume De Ridder (Tony Kart / Vortex) despite an injury to his right hand.
Julé retired and Boutonnet took back 9 places in 2 laps, the fastest time was Moineault, Deguffroy took third position, Kenny Marquez (Kosmic / Vortex) took fifth. Hiltbrand and Marques retired on lap 5. Leclerc saw his lead shrink and Moineault attacked on the 6th of 14 laps. Leclerc didn’t give up, however, and the two drivers were more than 3 seconds ahead of Deguffroy. 10 seconds back, Boutonnet took 4th place ahead of of De Ridder. Alex Hamilton (Intrepid / TM) and Pascal Belmaaziz (DR / TM) in turn passed the Belgian.
Leclerc and Moineault continued to fight for the lead and repeatedly exchanged command of the race. Moineault led on the last lap, but Leclerc countered before the line. Third was Degufffroy by 2s, fourth and 9s back was Boutonnet from Belmaaziz, Fraïsse and De Ridder.
