Great start for Charles Leclerc (ART GP / Parilla) in the KF2 final in the GPO at Varennes, and Valentin Moineault (Tony Kart / Vortex) lost a few places including one to Paul Boutonnet (Tony Kart / Parilla) but took second on the second lap, followed by Remy Deguffroy (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Vincent Fraïsse (Sodi / Parilla), while trying to catch up with Boutonnet and the leaders. The second group was led by Pascal Belmaaziz (DR / TM) with Sébastien Bailly (Swiss Hutless / TM), Guillaume De Ridder (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Pedro Hiltbrand (FA Kart / Vortex).
Moineault took the lead on the fourth lap, Fraïsse replaced him on the next lap, Hiltbrand was the fastest on the track, and the two groups would soon join. Leclerc fell to sixth, with Fraïsse leading from Moineault, Deguffroy, Boutonnet and Belmaaziz. Moineault was the leader at halfway, and got away from the fray by more than 2s. Leclerc took over second position ahead of Fraïsse and Deguffroy who soon took third. Fraïsse countered, and Boutonnet attacked Belmaaziz behind. However Belmaaziz attacked and took fourth position.
Moineault was leading, with the fastest lap in his pocket, and increasing his leadership over Leclerc to more than 3s.Belmaaziz used his experience to overtake Fraïsse. Boutonnet threatened Belmaaziz on the the beginning of the last lap. Valentin Moineault’s first victory in KF2 in his first GPO was from Charles Leclerc and Paul Boutonnet who managed to pass, Deguffroy fourth, Hiltbrand fifth, Haublin 6th, Fraïsse 7th, Filippi 8th, Belmaaziz 9th and Ingrid Girard 10th.
