The few raindrops that fell on Wackersdorf didn’t really affect the course of the third and final heat for KZ1. However there was the traditional crash at the first corner which required the “Slow” procedure while the doctor examined Jérémy Iglesias. He eventually recovered and the race was restarted. Jorrit Pex (CRG / TM) let Paolo De Conto (Birel / BMB) take away his lead, Fabian Federer (CRG / Maxter) overtook Ben Hanley (ART GP / TM) and Kozlinski (PCR / TM).
Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) lost a lot of places being pushed out of the way, Jonathan Thonon (CRG / Maxter) recovered to the front quickly, while Armand Convers (Kosmic / Vortex) attacked the during his first complete hear (he retired twice today). Pex won his second race ahead of De Conto, Thonon ahead of Federer in 3rd place, Ardigo took 4th from Hanley and Federer. Convers was eighth, Kozlinski 9th, De Brabander 10th, Fore 11th, Lammers 12th and Hajek 13th.
