A growing category on American soil, the TaG Junior class should include more than 80 competitors in the SuperNationals Las Vegas this year. The award has previously eluded the local drivers. There are three competing for the title at this event, the last of the SKUSA Pro Tour: Luke Selliken (Kosmic) the leader, Carter Williams (FA Kart) 15 points behind and Brenden Baker (CRG) 65 points. American drivers who are used to the continental circus are the Sargeant brothers Dalton and Logan (Tony Kart), will be looking for a celebration with a big score for the eldest, and Devlin DeFrancesco (CRG) who has been in 60 Mini.
But European stars will enter battle with strong drivers on their side, starting with the double European champion, George Russell (OK1). He will of course be against the French driver Dorian Boccolacci who is driving a national Energy this time. The only other French driver in the race is Julien Andlauer who is defending the colors of Praga Kart. Among the competitors who compete in the European races, the Canadian Lance Stroll (Zanardi) will be one of the drivers to follow. We also note the presence of his compatriot, Zachary Cleman Demelo (CRG), Brazilians Felipe Ortiz (CRG), Sergio Sette Camara (ART GP) and Vitor Batista (Energy), and the Venezuelan Diego Borelli (ART GP).
The first serious indications will be during timed practice on Friday from 1:10 p.m. (4h10 in France, for the brave …)
