Christian Sorensen (Kosmic / TM) and Samuel Oram Jones (Zanardi / BMB) were the only drivers in the first group to go under a minute in KF Qualifying with a reference time of 59” 955 for the Danish driver from Kartronix International. Sidney Gomez (Tony Kart / Vortex), the Venezuelan from Baby Race, set the third fastest time ahead of Callum Ilott (Zanardi / Parilla) and Kevin Lavelli (Top Kart / TM). Relatively far back were Egor Stupenkov (Energy / TM), only in 10th, more so for Alex Palou (CRG / Parilla) in 19th and Vasily Romanov (Energy / TM) in 21st. Valentin Moineault (ART GP / TM) finished 22nd and Julien Darras (Tony Kart / TM) 26th.
Nicklas Nielsen (Kosmic / TM) set the fastest time in group 2 in the penultimate lap with 1’00” 018, Dorian Boccolacci (Energy / TM) took second on the last lap. Andrea Russo (Kosmic / Vortex) was up to third ahead of Martin Kodric (FA Kart / Vortex) and Armand Convers (Kosmic / Vortex). Paolo Besancenez (Sodi / TM) was forced to retire due to a technical problem after one lap.
Overall, Sorensen was ahead of Oram Jones, Nielsen 3rd, Gomez 4th and Boccolacci fifth, but the Superpole will reset the clock to zero for the top 12.
