Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart / Parilla) was victorious in Prefinal A in KFJ at the WSK Master Series at Sarno. Threatened by Leonardo Pulcini (Tony Kart / Vortex) who led from the 2nd to 4th lap, Lorandi then pulled away from his pursuers and set the fastest time on the last lap. Second was Pulcini, and Robert Shwartzman (Tony Kart / TM) monopolised 3rd place ahead of Niko Kari (FA Kart / Vortex) and David Beckmann (Zanardi / BMB). Dan Ticktum (FA Kart / Vortex) made a big comeback from 18th to 6th place, Max Defourny (Kosmic / Vortex) finished ninth ahead of Tom Bale (FA Kart / Vortex) and Devlin DeFrancesco (CRG / BMB).
The result was long uncertain in Prefinal B where Lando Norris (FA Kart / Vortex), Parker Thompson (Energy / TM) and Nikita Sitnikov (Tony Kart / BMB) took turns in the lead. But Martijn Van Leeuwen (Zanardi / Parilla) was installed in first place at the halfway point to take the win by 0.7” ahead of Sitnikov, well ahead of Nikita Mazepin (Tony Kart / Vortex). Norris took over fourth position from Thompson, the fastest on the track on the last lap. Arthur Lehouck (Lenzo / Vortex) was 11th ahead of the upwardly mobile Jules Bollier (Kosmic / Parilla). There was no quaification for Gabriel Aubry (Birel / TM) who lost any chance on the second lap, while Bryan Elpitiya (Zanardi / BMB) failed in 20th position ahead of Emilien Carde (Kosmic / Parilla).
