The Castelletto track was still a bit slippery for the powerful KZ2s, which didn’t prevent Davide Fore (CRG / TM) winning after enjoying the duel between Patrik Hajek (Praga / Parilla) and Alexander Schmitz (Tony Kart / Vortex) who took the lead in the second heat. Hajek came back but not enough to threaten the leader. There was a battle for Jonathan Thonon (Praga / Parilla). Starting 20th Mirko Torsellini (ART GP / TM) finished seventh and Alexandre Arrue (Praga / Parilla) was disappointed in 11th position.
While Patrik Hajek started perfectly in the third heat, Sauro Cesetti crept into second position ahead of Davide Fore who put all his energy into closing up and then attacking the leader. The procedure “Slow” was triggered on lap 9 after an incident that was revealed to be minor afterwards. Hajek skillfully managed the restart and ensured his victory on the last lap. Cesetti finished third to Marcel Mueller (CRG / Modena) and Torsellini.
Patrik Hajek is therefore first in the ranking after the heats ahead of Davide Fore, Sauro Cesetti, Riccardo Romkema 4th and Jonathan Thonon 5th.
