The performance of Praga Kart Racing Team in KZ2 was confirmed at the second meeting of the WSK Champions Cup. Patrik Hajek held his rank in the top five in the heats, while Jonathan Thonon was back in the pre-final, where he set the fastest lap, before reaching the third step of the podium in the final and finished 5th overall. In the space of a week, the work done by the team on the Dragon chassis and the Parilla Screamer engines obviously paid off.
In KF, the performance gain is also acute as demonstrated by Karol Dabski finishing 4th in the prefinal although Joel Johansson was still unlucky. Rasmus Lindh made a good comeback in the KF-Junior Prefinal B, 30th in the intermediate classification, and clinched 8th on the line with very convincing lap times.
The Praga Kart official team is now preparing for the important WSK Super Master series event at the Sarno circuit, which will host the KZ World Championship in October. Testing will also be stepped up for the occasion.
