While the entry may be less prestigious than at the start, the classic event has found its place in letting many international competitors compete at a high standards without having to spend as large sums as at the CIK-FIA or WSK races. The atmosphere in the paddock is more casual and friendly, and there is a little of what was the attraction of karting in the 80s.
The prizes at the Margutti Trophy remains a good example of the attention paid to the competitors. The top 10 in each category are given many prizes, including a chassis for the winners. Drivers always appreciate this kind of initiative and there were many people at the awards ceremony at the end of the day, in the organisers awning. The strong performances achieved by several drivers during the races will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the course of their season and those who were not been able to win are nevertheless happy to have participated.
