Three rounds of free practice of 15 minutes were on the schedule of the first day of the World KF Championship at Essay. Although the sky was a little cloudy early in the afternoon – we even felt a few drops of rain – but the weather improved later and ended with a blue sky in the early evening. Karol Basz (Tony Kart / Vortex) was also one of the fastest along with Martijn Van Leeuwen (Zanardi / Parilla) and Niko Kari (Tony Kart / Vortex). Emil Skaras (Tony Kart / Vortex), Jehan Daruvala (FA Kart / Vortex), Lando Norris (FA Kart / Vortex), Kevin Rossel (Kosmic / Vortex), Gabriel Aubry (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Felice Tiene (CRG / Parilla) also made good lap times. Competitors will have two free practice sessions on Friday before starting qualifying at 15:15.
