The weather was still overcast and threatening but without rain for the final of the KF World Championship. The drivers were excited and the start was not the best that we have seen. Tom Joyner (Zanardi / Parilla) didn’t take advantage of his pole position, and Jehan Daruvala (FA Kart / Vortex) and Lando Norris (FA Kart / Vortex) overtook after the second corner. Nikita Mazepin (Tony Kart / Vortex) was in 4th place ahead of Martijn Van Leeuwen (Zanardi / Parilla), then Callum Ilott (Zanardi / Parilla), which made one wonder how he could gain as many places at once, Pedro Hiltbrand ( CRG / Parilla) then Gabriel Aubry (Tony Kart / Vortex), who made a splendid start. Daruvala escaped and Mazepin threatened Norris. Aubry retired on the third lap when he was eighth with the fastest lap. Joyner seemed troubled, Ilott took 5th ahead of Hiltbrand. Norris upped the pace to get closer to his teammate Daruvala.
Norris attacked and took the lead on the 10th of 25 laps. Mazepin, Van Leeuwen and Ilott returned to the Indian. Norris built a small lead as the laps went on. Now sixth, Karol Basz (Tony Kart / Vortex) gradually regained the delay at the start. The race then went on without major changes apart from Ilott taking Van Leeuwen for 4th place. Hiltbrand retired with two laps to go. Mazepin attacked Daruvala on the last lap and eventually passed on the outside of the hill to gain 2nd place. Lando Norris won the KF World Champion title in his first season in the category, while the RFM team achieved a historic double in both categories.
