Two Praga R1 prototypes were demonstrated on the kart track at Adria before the KZ2 final of the WSK Final Cup on Sunday afternoon. Designed for the large spaces of endurance circuits, the powerful Czech cars were not quite at ease on such a compact layout, but the show was nonetheless as exciting as promised with many spectators present.
Praga is offering test sessions at the Adria Raceway from November 3rd to 6th prior to the launch of the R1 Endurance Cup in the spring of 2015. The races will be held at prestigious meetings on the most famous European circuits. With its full carbon shell, the Praga R1 meets the highest safety standards. In addition, the car was already faster than the GT3. These factors will make the new R1 Endurance Cup a world-class series that is unique for its type.
