Nicolas Picot (France), was close on Bruno Borlido’s (Portugal) heels in the first timed session in Rotax Max. Dylan Lahaye (Belgium) quickly took over in front from Zachary Claman Demelo (Canada), but the Borlido-Picot duo returned to 2nd and 3rd positions. The clock ticked and the positions didn’t move before the end of the odd number session. The best laps were from the 2nd and 3rd laps. Lahaye remained the leader with 57”642, two-tenths ahead of Carlos Gil (Spain), then Borlido, closely followed by Picot by 3 thousandths.
Some of the best drivers were in no hurry to enter the track during the 2nd session for Senior Max, while Josh White (United Kingdom) took the lead ahead of his compatriot Jack Bartholomew. Aavo Tavlar (Estonia) soon joined them. Luca Travaglini (Brazil) stood out ahead of the table, Calvin Wing (Malaysia) was in the top 5, in 4th position, soon replaced by Martin Mortensen (Denmark). The ranking would not change much more. With a time of 57”860 Travaglini took pole out of the group in front of White and Luke Herring (South Africa), was one of the few to improve at the very end of the session.
Lahaye maintained his pole position in the category ahead of Gil, Borlido and Picot, with Travaglini in 5th, Dreyspring 6th, Claman Demelo 7th, Denyssen 8th, Garcia 9th and Markkanen 10th. Joseph Reilly was only 23rd, Josh Price 35th, and Harry Webb 36th. It was difficult for Jules Cousin in 62nd.
