Before the long summer break, Kami Laliberté will race in the fourth round of the French F4 Championship with the academicians at the Hungaroring track in Budapest. The race in the Hungarian capital will take place alongside the highly prestigious World Series by Renault which adds an international dimension. To mark this milestone in mid-season, the young Canadian, in the top ten in the Championship, will be tenacious against his opponents and do everything he can to score the maximum of points in the three races scheduled this weekend.
Kami Laliberté: “I am very enthusiastic about the idea of learning the Hungaroring where the races will again be hotly contested. We may experience high temperatures which could affect tyre wear. Qualifying will be even more important at this track where overtaking opportunities will be minimal. Running with the World Series by Renault will also be a new discovery and I hope for a successful weekend before our long summer break.“
There are three races on the programme with a single qualifying session lasting 25 to 30 minutes.
The starting grid for the first race will be based on the second fastest time of each driver in the qualifying session. The starting grid of the second race will be determined by the standings in Race 1. The top ten in Race 1 start in the reverse order (reverse grid) for Race 2. The other drivers will start in the order of finishing of Race 1. The starting grid for the third race will be based on the first fastest time of each driver in the qualifying session.
