For his first competition in KZ, the young Dane Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart / Vortex) was simply the fastest during free practice for the KZ World Championship. Already swift on Thursday, Nielsen further raised the tone on Friday with a lap of 51”760, one tenth faster than Bas Lammers (Sodi / TM) and Paolo De Conto (CRG / Maxter). Among the few drivers to go under 52”, Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) finished strongly in the last session and was sandwiched between Lammers and De Conto. Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM), Simo Puhakka (CRG / Maxter), Andrea Dale (CRG / TM), Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart / Vortex), Douglas Lundberg (Kosmic / Vortex), Jorrit Pex (CRG / TM) and Arnaud Kozlinski (Sodi / TM) made up the ten fastest drivers. Emilien Grosso (Tony Kart / Vortex) is doing very well with his 13th time in front of Rick Dreezen (Ricciardo / Parilla). All these performances will be confirmed in qualifying from 17.45 onwards.
