It was a difficult Thursday to get into the nitty-gritty of KF World Championship in La Conca. The storm and torrential rain that hit the Italian circuit at lunchtime did not enable free practice to go serenely. Some drivers wisely chose to do little running, while others were using their wet tyres on a drying track or took risks on slicks. The order on Thursday is still very fragmented as a result of competition.
However, Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart / Vortex) was the only one to go under 46” by setting the two fastest times of the day, with 45”926 remaining as the benchmark. Richard Verschoor (Exprit / Vortex), Juan Correa (Energy / TM), Jordon Lennox-Lamb (BirelART / Parilla) and Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) were among the best performers.
