The first heats of the KF-Junior World Championship at La Conca on Saturday morning were marked by numerous skirmishes during the start. It seems that the young drivers have completely forgotten the rules of conduct and the presence of the detachable spoilers. Then have been dramatic incidents particularly at the first hairpin such as a barrel roll for Presley Martono. Several serious candidates for the title, like Noah Watt, Kenny Roosens and Artem Petrov, scored heavy points for the rest of the competition. For now, seven 10” penalties were applied in the first three races, but the stewards are on the spot.
That did not stop Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex) taking two victories and leading KF-Junior ahead of Sebastian Fernandez Wahbeh, Felipe Drugovich (Kosmic / Vortex), Clement Novalak (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Kosnta Lappalainen (Tony Kart / Vortex).
