With four wins in five heats, Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex) was able to stay ahead of the sometimes confusing melee of KF-Junior in contention for the World Championship at La Conca. Race incidents were frequent throughout the day, although the afternoon was calmer than the morning. With three wins, Sebastian Fernandez Wahbeh (FA Kart / Vortex) is 2nd, which gives him pole position for Final 2, level on points with Clement Novalak (Tony Kart / Vortex).
Both Brazilians Kosmic Felipe Drugovich (Kosmic / Vortex) and Caio Collet (Kosmic / Vortex) are very close in the 4th and 5th positions ahead of Ulysses De Pauw (BirelART / Parilla) and Konsta Lappalainen (Tony Kart / Vortex). The Argentine Giorgio Carrara (Luxor / LKE) has made a grand entrance into the top 10 ahead of Sami Worship (FA Kart / Vortex) and Noah Watt (FA Kart / Vortex), two drivers capable of racing at the forefront on Sunday.
Among the favourites but a bit distant at this point, Christian Lundgaard (Energy / TM) is ranked 20th, Kush Maini (Tony Kart / Vortex) 28th, Kenny Roosens (Kosmic / Parilla) 29th, Rasmus Lindh (Ricciardo / Parilla) 30th and the surprising Muizzuddin Musyaffa Bin Abdul Jafar (CRG / Vortex) 33rd.
The 2nd French driver after Novalak, Charles Milesi (Tony Kart / Vortex) is 36th despite a crash in the last heat, Milane Petelet (Kosmic / Parilla) is 59th, Franck Chappard (Kosmic / Parilla) 60th but Timothy Peisselon (BirelART / Parilla) will go no further with his 90th place.
The qualifications will conclude on Sunday morning with the two Prefinals which promise to be intense.
