The end of the season the French F4 Championship has arrived for the young driver from Avignon, Giuliano Alesi, with his final laps of the year in Formula 4 on the Paul Ricard Le Castellet circuit from 23rd to 25th October. This last event promises to be explosive as the positions on the podium are not yet allocated, and Giuliano is planning to finish Championship valiantly as he still has every chance of taking a podium.
Having found the way to victory at the last event at Navarra, Giuliano Alesi is eager to do battle again during the final confrontation of the year on the prestigious Le Castellet circuit.
Aware that his main opponents will also arrive very motivated, Giuliano is ready to fight. The three scheduled races in the Var are the last cards that each driver has in the game, and everyone is trying to have the best hand!
Giuliano Alesi: “There are still six drivers mathematically in contention for the three steps of the podium and this will cause intense races where I cannot make any mistakes. At Navarra, I did not drive well in Race 3 and I have taken advantage of this bad experience to properly analyze it in order not to repeat this type of performance. I will arrive at Paul Ricard with huge motivation and I want to conclude this championship as I started at Ledenon.
Unlike some of my opponents, I do not have much pressure and I can race freely. Only victory counts for me and I’m ready for this grand finale.“
There are three races on the programme with a single qualifying session lasting 25-30 minutes.
The starting grid for the first race will be based on the second fastest time of each driver in the qualifying session. The starting grid of the second race will be determined by the standings in Race 1. The top ten in Race 1 will start in reverse order (reverse grid) for Race 2. The other drivers will start in order of finishing Race 1. The starting grid for the third race will be based on the first fastest time of each driver in the qualifying session.
