The start was not as bad as could have been feared in Junior; starting in the lead, Matias Fernandez dropped to the back of the race. Hibiki Taira first took the lead, but Michael Michoff ultimately imposed. Karl Leesmann moved up to 3rd position followed by Reece Sidebottom. Jules Bollier succeeded in an almost impossible feat by taking the fateful 6th place from 22nd position on the grid. David Beaumann finished 16th.
It was a more hectic start in Senior with half a dozen drivers delayed at the first corner. Joao Rosate led by some lengths, Luca Travaglini was 2nd for a while, then gave ground, while Dave Blom took 2nd ahead of Matt Solarczyk and Shane Daly. Rosato won from Blom, Solarczyk 3rd, Silvano Christian 4th, Daly 5th and Jakub Kadlcak 6th. Starting 26th, Nicolas Duchateau came back to 16th position.
Horacio Torres and Miguel Moura fought over the lead in DD2 Masters but Tomokazu Kawase finally won ahead of Moura. Lajos Locskai was 3rd, Primoz Matelic 4th, Torres 5th and Stuart Clark 6th. Laurent Aubin finally made a great recovery from 17th to 10th position.
Despite two false starts, the DD2 did not really calm down and excursions off the track were numerous on the first lap. Lorenzo Van Riet took control ahead of Rubens Barrichello and Roope Markkanen. Natalia Balbo then recovered to 3rd place from Jason Pringle, who sank Markkanen. Van Riet won the race, Balbo attacked Barrichello to steal 2nd position, Pringle was 4th, Troy Woolson 5th and Fred Woodley 6th. Alexandre Anstett, caught in a clash, didn’t complete the first lap.
