The KZ2 qualifying heats were disrupted by rain, and one of them had to be red flagged before being restarted. The intermediate ranking reflects the difficult conditions of this unique day.
Alessandro Irlando (Energy / TM) had a solid course leading to the lead ahead of the poleman Matteo Vigano (Top Kart / Parilla) and Stan Pex (CRG / Vortex). Qualified 26th, Matteo Zanchi (GP Racing / TM) achieved the feat of the day by returning to 4th ahead of Francesco Celenta (Formula K / TM). Superb performances for Tom Leuillet (Sodi / TM) who is 7th despite a final round clash. Luca Corberi (Tony Kart / Vortex) took advantage of the rain where he is very comfortable, to come back in 9th position, while Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart / Vortex) lost out in 11th position. Pierre Loubère (Sodi / Parilla) has overcame the difficulties to finish 13th in front of Yohan Sousa (Zanardi / Parilla) who rose in the turmoil from 31st to 14th place, with Eric Ramon (Energy / Parilla) making a similar leap from 40th to 17th position.
Nicolas Gonzales (Sodi / TM) was able to finish 20th, Nicolas Picot (Tony Kart / Vortex) 28th despite a retirement, while Paolo Besancenez (Tony Kart / Vortex) encountered too many mishaps to be able to do better than 29th. Gabin Leuillet (Sodi / TM) is 36th, Paul Fontaine (Sodi / TM) 42nd ahead of Louis Prette (Sodi / TM) and Kevin Petit (Sodi / TM) sank the rankings.
