An incident at the first braking point at the Sarno hairpin decimated some of the squad of the KZ2 Final of the WSK Super Master Series. Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) led the race against Paolo Ippolito (Lenzo / LKE), Giuseppe Palomba (Intrepid / TM), Francesco Iacovacci (Luxor / LKE) and Tom Leuillet (Sodi / TM). Adrien Renaudin (Sodi / TM) was already in the top 10. Simo Puhakka (Tony Kart / Vortex) overtook Leuillet after six laps for 5th position with Bas Lammers (Lion Kart / TM) who attacked Riccardo Longhi (BirelART / TM) for 6th place. Palomba attacked Ippolito for 2nd place while Ardigo gained more than a second. Iacovacci then followed in 3rd position and Puhakka was more pressing in 5th place. Ardigo confirmed his claim with a good victory in front of Palomba, Puhakka reached the podium, followed by Lammers and Ippolito in the top five, while Leuillet went back from 4th to 6th because of a penalty. Renaudin finished in 8th place ahead of Alex Irlando (Sodi / TM).
