Gabriel Bortoleto (CRG / TM) and Hadrien David (Kosmic / Vortex) shared the front row of the Ampfing OK-Junior Final, while the weather was still good despite a few clouds. Paul Aron (FA Kart / Vortex) finished the first lap in the lead and Luca Griggs (Exprit / Vortex) was 3rd on the next lap. Gabriele Mini’ (Parolin / Parilla) then recovered the 5th position he held at the start. Loris Cabirou (Energy / TM) fell to 18th place and Victor Bernier (Kosmic / Parilla) retired. Starting very well, Zak O’Sullivan (FA Kart / Vortex) was in the top 10 from 16th place. Aron had taken a slight lead over the battling Bortoleto and Griggs, followed by David and Mini’. Griggs passed Bortoleto shortly before half of the 22 laps. Mini then attacked David at the end of the straight to take 4th place. While the top four accentuated the gap between them, Kirill Smal (Tony Kart / Vortex) returned to David’s 5th place. On the penultimate lap, Mini encountered a sparkplug problem and disappeared in 15th position. Aron (Ricky Flynn Motorsport) won with the fastest lap in the race almost 1.5” ahead of Griggs (Lennox Racing Team), Bortoleto (CRG SpA) finished 3rd a second later. Smal (Ward Racing) took 4th place ahead of David (Kosmic Racing Department) in 5th, then Kai Askey (FA Kart / Vortex) 6th, O’Sullivan 7th and Dilano Van T’Hoff (Exprit / TM) 8th. Marcus Amand (KR / Parilla) finished 19th, Loris Cabirou 22nd and Isack Hadjar (Exprit / TM) 28th.
Aron took the lead of the Championship with 69 points and a significant lead over Mini’.
