After excellent performances in the top five in the DKM at Wackersdorf, Enzo Scionti confirmed his great return to form the following week in the European Championship at Genk by joining the top 10 of the Final.
The second round of the German Championship allowed the young Texan to take 5th position in OK-Junior – DJKM – at the Wackersdorf circuit (DEU) thanks to his 4th place in Race 1 and his magnificent 2nd place on the podium of Race 2.
Faster and faster at the wheel of his Ward Racing Team Tony Kart / Vortex, Enzo successfully tackled the difficult conditions of the second meeting of the FIA Karting European Championship which took place from 16th-19th May at Genk (BEL). He set the third fastest time in his group in the rain and took 9th place in Qualifying Practice, which was particularly delicate due to very changeable grip.
Extremely consistent in the top three of the Qualifying Heats, Enzo was 5th on the starting grid of the final. After 19 laps of a formidable race, he finished in 10th place despite a slight lack of speed in his equipment. This remarkable result enabled him to make a spectacular leap to 12th position in the Championship standings.
