There was a dry track, cloudy skies and a temperature of 4° for the time trials for the 69 OK-Junior drivers of the WSK Super Master Series in Lonato.
René Lammers (Parolin/TM) took the lead in Session 1 against Oleksander Bondarev (LN/Vortex). Jan Przyrowski (Tony Kart/Vortex) was very fast, Kirill Kutskov (Birel ART/TM) followed the pace and Andres Cardenas (Energy/TM) joined the fight. Lammers was finally the fastest with 47”274, 1.5 tenths ahead of Zhenrui Chi (KR/Iame) and Enzo Tarnvanichkul (Tony Kart/Vortex). Cardenas finished 4th and Bondarev 5th ahead of Przyrowski.
Thomas Quincé (Tony Kart/TM) played the leading role in the second session by consistently taking the lead, but the positions changed at the very end of the session. Enea Frey (LN/Vortex) was the fastest in 47’420, with Martin Molnar (KR/Iame) 41 thousandths behind and Lewis Wherrel (Exprit/TM) 75 thousandths back. Miguel Costa (KR/Iame) was 4th and Shimo Zhang (KR/Iame) 5th. Quincé finished 7th, Jimmy Helias (Tony Kart/Vortex) 9th and Maxence Bouvier (Sodi/TM) 13th.
Dmitry Matveev (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Maciej Gladysz (LN/Vortex) were in the lead in the third session, while Andy Consani (Sodi/TM) was in the top five. Matveev finally took the pole position with 47”257 (by 17 thousandths). Gladysz finished 2nd at 57 thousandths, followed by William Go (Exprit/TM), Consani 4th and Lucas Fluxa Cross (KR/Iame) 5th. Nathan Tye (Sodi/TM) was 10th.
