The fourth round of the WSK Super Master Series featured 57 OK drivers on LeCont tyres in Qualifying under the sun in Sarno on Friday morning.
In the first session Enzo Deligny (Parolin/TM) was the first to go under 54″ on his fourth lap. Luka Sammalisto (KR/Iame) regained the lead against Maksimilian Popov (Tony Kart/Vortex). Kean Nakamura Berta (KR/Iame) finished with the fastest time on his seventh lap in 53’509. Freddie Slater (LN/Vortex) followed at 12 thousandths, then Popov 3rd ahead of Yuanpu Cui (KR/Iame) and Deligny 5th by a tenth.
The second session was more gradual in its rhythm. Tomass Stolcermanis (Energy/TM) opened up a gap on the fourth lap, but Alex Powell (KR/Iame) responded with a good margin and finished on pole position – 53”349. Oscar Pedersen (Tony Kart/Vortex) finished 2nd at 0.175”, then Joe Turney (Tony Kart/Vortex) 3rd at 0.234” ahead of David Walther (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Zachary David (KR/Iame).
